Saturday (Shanivar) is governed by Shani Dev — the lord of karma, time, and justice. Saturn's gaze can bring trials, but Shani's true purpose is to purify the soul through discipline and accountability. Worshipping Shani on Saturdays reduces Shani Mahadasha, Sade Sati, and Shani Dhaiya. Hanuman Ji is also worshipped intensely on Saturdays as his grace shields devotees from Shani's harder lessons.
