அரிசி மற்றும் பருப்பு மாவில் வெல்லம் சேர்த்து அடை-மாவு தயாரிக்கவும். Prepare the traditional Adai-Maavu snack using rice and dal flour with jaggery – this is the essential nivedhyam for the nombu.

சரியான முகூர்த்த நேரத்தில் கணவர் கையால் புதிய மஞ்சள் கயிறு கட்டவும். At the exact muhurta time, the husband ties the new Manjal Kayiru (turmeric-dyed sacred thread) around the wife's neck.
