Transliteration

Om Āñjaneyāya Vidmahe Vāyuputrāya Dhīmahi Tanno Hanumat Prachodayāt

Meaning

We meditate on Anjaneya (son of Anjana). We contemplate the son of Vayu (Wind God). May Hanuman inspire and illuminate our intellect.

Significance

Gayatri-form mantra invoking Hanuman as Anjaneya (son of Anjana) and Vayuputra (son of Wind God). Chanted for wisdom, strength, and divine illumination. Especially potent on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
