Saturday worship of Lord Shani pacifies Shani dosha, Sade Sati, Dhaiyya, and Shani Mahadasha effects. Shani Dev is the son of Surya and the god of justice — rewarding as per karma. Shanishchari Amavasya and Shani Jayanti are especially auspicious.

🪔 Puja Samagri (Items Required)
- Shani Dev idol or photo
- Mustard oil
- Black sesame seeds
- Black urad dal
- Iron ring / iron bowl
- Black flowers
- Blue Sapphire (if possible)
- Mustard oil lamp, incense
📋 Puja Procedure — Steps
Step 1: स्नान एवं काले/नीले वस्त्र
Bathe and wear black or dark blue clothes.
Step 2: शनि देव पूजन
Offer mustard oil on Shani Dev idol. Offer black sesame, black urad, black flowers. Chant "Om Sham Shanaishcharaya Namah" 108 times.
Step 3: शनि स्तोत्र / चालीसा पाठ
Recite Shani Chalisa or Shani Stotram. The Dashratha-krita Shani Stotram is extremely effective.
Step 4: दीपक एवं दान
Light a mustard oil lamp under a Peepal tree. Donate black urad, mustard oil, iron items, black blanket to the poor.
