Significance

Vaishno Devi is one of the most visited pilgrimage sites in India, located in the Trikuta Hills. Devotees undertake a 12-13 km trek from Katra to the holy cave, where the goddess is worshipped in the form of three pindis.

वैष्णो देवी भारत के सबसे अधिक दर्शन किए जाने वाले तीर्थों में से एक है, जो त्रिकूट पर्वत पर स्थित है। भक्त कटरा से 12-13 किमी की यात्रा कर पवित्र गुफा में तीन पिंडियों के रूप में देवी की पूजा करते हैं।

Legend & History

According to legend, Mata Vaishno Devi took refuge in the cave while being pursued by Bhairon Nath. She ultimately vanquished him and granted him salvation. The cave enshrines three natural rock formations symbolizing the three forms of the goddess.

कथाओं के अनुसार, माता वैष्णो देवी भैरोंनाथ से बचते हुए गुफा में आ गईं और अंततः उनका वध कर उन्हें मोक्ष दिया। गुफा में तीन प्राकृतिक पिंडियां देवी के तीन रूपों का प्रतीक हैं।
